Joanna Thomson

Joanna is a final seat Trainee Solicitor in the Family Law team. She joined Thorntons as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2022 and completed her first seats in Private Client, Commercial Litigation and Commercial Real Estate.

Joanna graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Edinburgh. This included an Erasmus Year studying International and European Law at KU Leuven in Belgium.

Joanna prides herself on being approachable and putting clients’ needs at the centre of her work.
