Annie Muir

A Solicitor in our Personal Injury team, Annie advises clients on a wide range of personal injury claims including road traffic accidents, workplace accidents, clinical negligence and accidents in public places involving occupiers liability and public liability. Annie also deals with litigated cases in both the local Sheriff Courts and the All Scotland Personal Injury Court. She has a particular interest in litigation, workplace claims and clinical negligence cases.

Annie has experience in assisting survivors of historic abuse in Scotland obtain compensation: advising them on the right to pursue claims through the courts and the newly established Redress Scheme

Annie enjoys helping people and understands that making a personal injury claim is a difficult period in life so she is well known for her sensitive and understanding manner. Annie is dedicated to providing a first class service to all her clients throughout the entire claims process and strives to help them secure maximum compensation.

Before joining Thorntons, Annie completed her traineeship with a local general litigation firm where she appeared in court regularly.
