With over 32 years working in the legal industry, Lindsay is the Business Manager for our Business Law and Dispute Resolution and Claims team.

Together with the Heads of Department Ewan Miller and Sandra Sutherland and team leads Noele McClelland, Chris Allan, Gary Thomas, and Liam McMonagle, Lindsay works to deliver our business management goals for these areas. This involves looking at ways to improve our service to clients and ensure our processes and systems are effective in achieving our planned goals.

Naomi is a third seat Trainee Solicitor in the Commercial Litigation team. She commenced her Training Contract in September 2023 and completed her first seats in Private Client and Commercial Real Estate.

Prior to commencing her Training Contract, Naomi was a Paralegal in the Real Estate team of an international law firm.

Megan is a third seat Trainee Solicitor in Commercial Litigation.  She commenced her Training Contract in September 2023 completing her first seats in Residential Property and Private Client. 

Prior to joining Thorntons, Megan gained experience working in-house as a Legal Executive for a commercial litigation team.

Megan has a particular interest in Family Law and Civil Litigation and prides herself on her practical and empathetic approach to clients, providing solutions for each client’s individual need.

Ross is a third seat Trainee Solicitor in the Commercial Litigation team. He joined Thorntons in September 2023 and completed his first seats in Corporate and Personal Injury.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Law (LLB) and the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Glasgow, which included an Erasmus year at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Ian is a third seat Trainee Solicitor in the Commercial Litigation team. He commenced his Training Contract in September 2023 and completed his first seats in Commercial Litigation and Land & Rural Business team.

Ian graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Stirling and completed the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh. He was recognised for his effort and hard work when he received the Best performing student award for both the LLB and Diploma.

A Partner in our Dispute, Resolution and Claims team, Stephanie advises clients on a wide range of commercial litigation, debt recovery and dispute resolution matters. She also deals with contentious personal and corporate insolvency cases.

A Solicitor in the Commercial Litigation team, Rory works alongside Partners Mike Kemp and Anne Miller.  

Rory acts for a range of clients including individuals and SME’s, and advises on commercial dispute resolution and litigation matters, including; contract disputes, consumer rights, contentious matters, insolvency applications, and property dispute issues.

Rory prides himself on his personal, pragmatic, and commercially focused advice which his clients appreciate.
