Full service Scottish legal firm Thorntons has appointed Gurjit Pall as an Associate in the Immigration and Visas team at its Edinburgh and new Glasgow office, adding further weight to its expertise in this area as Brexit uncertainly swells.
Since qualifying as a solicitor, Gurjit has worked exclusively in this field, allowing him to assist a wide range of clients at various stages of their immigration journey. Gurjit was previously Associate and Head of Immigration and Asylum at Livingstone Brown Solicitors, Glasgow and worked at JR Rahman Solicitors and immigration specialist company Five Star International Ltd.
Being multilingual, Gurjit who lives in Glasgow can converse in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu which is of great benefit to clients.
Gurjit has a keen interest in Human Rights law and EEA Regulations with a particular focus on Brexit issues. He can assist with any Leave to Remain applications including, human right applications, spouse and partner visas, investor and entrepreneur visas, Tier 2 visas and student visas, as well as submitting EEA applications to the Home Office.
Throughout his career Gurjit has established a wide client base and was recently named “One to Watch” at the 2017 Scottish Asian Business Awards.
