We are a flexible employer with hybrid working options and a range of working arrangements so you can have the flexibility you need for your home life while still being connected to the supportive culture of Thorntons. In fact, we currently have over 200 different flexible working arrangements in place for our people, including early starts and finishes and four-day weeks.

We also have industry-leading, inclusive family-friendly leave policies in place to support you. New mothers can take 26 weeks’ maternity or adoption leave at full pay, and 13 weeks on half pay. They can also benefit from a 12-week phased return to work on full pay.  Partners and fathers can take 12 weeks of paid leave, and we also offer fully paid shared parental leave. 

As part of our family-friendly offering, we also have paid leave entitlement for assisted conception and IVF treatment, and paid leave for colleagues who experience loss.
