Part of our Edinburgh Private Client team, Yana is a Supervisory Executry Manager working with Partner Morna Coutts. She specialises in the administration of complex executry estates with particular interest in executry work with various Inheritance Tax aspects as well as cross-border estates.
With over 17 years’ experience in Private Client Executry work, Yana eases the burden of dealing with the executry administration for clients. Understanding how stressful this time can be for bereaved families, she guides them through the entire estate administration process, however complex, in a calm, efficient and professional manner.
Yana is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners (STEP) and recipient of a STEP Worldwide Excellence Award in Taxation of Trusts and Estates (Scotland). She is also a full member of The Society of Law Accountants in Scotland (SOLAS), having passed all exams with distinction and received the SOLAS Jean Deick Award for Excellence in Trust Accounting. Yana also holds a first-class Honours Degree in Physics and postgraduate Degree in Physics.
