Struan is a Solicitor and Notary Public in our Ventures and Innovation team, based in Edinburgh. Working closely with Partner, Alistair Lang, Struan advises companies in the science, technology and environmental sectors on a broad range of corporate matters, including investments, M&A, spinouts, corporate governance and share option schemes.
Struan graduated with a Clinical LLB from the University of Strathclyde, where he gained early experience representing clients in a diverse range of civil matters. He went on to train at a boutique corporate law firm in Edinburgh, where he built a strong foundation in corporate law, including M&A, investments, and restructuring.
With a longstanding passion for business and innovation, Struan thrives on the strategic and creative problem-solving required when advising early-stage companies. He is committed to fostering strong client relationships, delivering tailored, commercially-focused advice, and ensuring clients feel confident and well-supported throughout their business journeys.
