A Partner in our residential conveyancing team, Steven is qualified in both Scots and English law. He worked at a number of law firms in London and the Home Counties before returning to his home town of Dundee.
Steven has considerable experience of dealing with a wide range of legal matters and now specialises in residential property sales, purchases and related transactions. He is able to help whether a property is in Scotland, England or Wales - and he can particularly assist those moving from one jurisdiction to the other and deal with the additional issues and inherent logistical complications that can arise as a result. Steven heads a small team within Thorntons which now specialises in assisting clients moving from England to Scotland and vice-versa.
Additionally, Steven is a tutor of Conveyancing on the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice course at the University of Dundee.
