Based in Edinburgh, Scott is a Solicitor in our Employment team.
Scott works alongside Chris Phillips and regularly advises both employers and employees on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious issues including negotiating settlement agreements, redundancies, TUPE, grievance/disciplinary matters and employment tribunal claims. He is also experienced in drafting employment contracts, contractual policies and procedures.
Scott typically acts for small to medium sized employers in industries such as housing, education, trade and rural business. He has a keen interest in discrimination matters and assisting businesses with their TUPE obligations.
He prides himself on good organisational skills and he enjoys building a good rapport with his clients. Scott strives to understand his client’s business to ensure he gives the appropriate advice for their circumstances.
Scott completed his LLB and Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Aberdeen. He is also a Notary Public.
