A Solicitor in our specialist Immigration and Visas team, Rebecca advises businesses, individuals and families on their UK immigration and visa needs.
Rebecca advises employers on the full range of immigration issues, including applying for and maintaining a sponsor licence. She also advises employers on sponsor duties and Right to Work compliance.
She also regularly advises private individuals and families who wish to make Scotland their home, assisting clients with partner and family visa applications, UK ancestry visas, applications for permanent residence (indefinite leave to remain) and British citizenship.
Rebecca has a particular interest in Nationality Law including complex citizenship applications based on British ancestry. She particularly enjoys guiding multinational families through their journey from an initial visa application to eventual permanent residence or citizenship.
Rebecca prides herself on building a strong rapport with clients while providing clear, transparent advice.
Rebecca is a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association and the Law Society of Scotland’s Access to Justice committee. She has a degree in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford and speaks fluent German.
