Lilac is a Data Protection Services Assistant based in our Edinburgh office.
Working closely alongside Morgan O’Neill and Naomi Blyth, Lilac provides practical support to the Data Protection Team on matters such as onboarding clients to our outsourced DPO service and handling Data Subject Access Requests and redaction activities on behalf of our DPO clients.
Before joining Thorntons, Lilac worked as a legal assistant for both a Solicitor Advocate and in-house at an international fashion brand.
She graduated from University of Edinburgh with a Bachelor of Laws in 2018, an MSc in International Relations in 2019, and later completed her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Aberdeen in 2023. Lilac is due to commence her traineeship with us in 2025.
