Katie is a first seat Trainee Solicitor in the Personal Injury team, having joined Thorntons in September 2024.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Dundee, and previously gained a Bachelor of Arts with Honors, in English studies and Spanish from the University of Stirling.
Katie has a particular interest in legal services for individuals and families, including Personal Injury claims, Private Client matters and Employment law, and prides herself on her practical and empathetic approach to clients.
Prior to joining Thorntons, Katie volunteered at her local primary school assisting students with Spanish lessons and English literacy skills. She also completed an introductory course in British Sign Language.
