Jack is a first seat Trainee Solicitor in the Private Client team, having joined Thorntons in September 2024.
He has a particular interest in Private Client matters such as intestacy and family wealth management.
Jack graduated with a Scots and English Dual Qualifying LLB and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Dundee.
During his time at Dundee University and during the Covid19 pandemic, Jack co-founded a pen pal society pairing students with elderly care home residents who may have been lonely during lockdown. The society is still active today.
Jack is known for his pragmatic approach, breaking down complex problems but communicating solutions in a clear and effective way.
