Claire is a Senior Solicitor in our Dispute Resolution and Claims team.
Working alongside Scott Milne, Claire advises individuals, partnerships, LLP’s, companies and local authorities on commercial dispute resolution and litigation matters.
Claire is an experienced Litigator within the Sheriff Court and the Commercial Court. She is particularly interested in contentious issues including those involving contracts, debt and property. She has specialised in debt recovery work, actions for payment and providing advice to creditors on diligence and enforcement. Claire has spent a number of years working as a Local Authority Solicitor dealing with financial frameworks for vulnerable adults and for adults lacking capacity, and has experience in the reorganisation of Charitable Trusts.
Claire is well known by her clients for her solid and pragmatic commercial awareness. She is passionate about building practical solutions to ensure the best possible outcome for their case.
Claire is also a Notary Public and a member of the Law Society of Scotland.
