A Senior Solicitor in the Commercial Litigation team, Calvin acts for a wide variety of clients from SMEs and family businesses to corporate creditors, insolvency practitioners and individuals.
He provides advice on a wide variety of litigation matters including debt recovery, bankruptcy, insolvency, landlord and tenant, property disputes and housing law. He has a particular interest in housing law and is regularly instructed by both private and social landlords. He has an in-depth knowledge of the recent legal changes facing the housing sector allowing him to provide practical advice on how to navigate issues such as notices to tenants, evictions, lease terms, conversion of tenancies, anti-social behaviour, disrepair, tenancy succession and assignation.
Calvin also has broad advocacy experience, appearing in sheriff courts across Scotland and before the First-tier Tribunal for Scotland (Housing and Property Chamber).
