Pamela has over 20 years’ experience advising clients on all aspects of insolvency and restructuring; formal and informal, corporate and personal. She has a particular interest in advising directors on the turnaround and restructuring of their business.
Pamela acts for creditors, both secured and unsecured in preserving their interests, advising insolvency practitioners on all aspects of trading or non-trading appointments, dealing with all aspects of the purchase and sale of insolvent businesses and advising lenders. She is routinely instructed by all stakeholders involved including; insolvency practitioners, banks and other secondary or asset-based lenders.
Pamela’s clients acknowledge that she is determined, pro-active and driven to find the best possible solution for them in challenging circumstances.
Pamela has immense experience of how insolvency impacts many sectors of the economy, but particularly; financial services, deposit taking institutions, property, retail, leisure, food and drink, healthcare and manufacturing sectors.
Much of Pamela’s career has involved working for national and international practices and working out of City and regional offices in addition to her practice in Scotland. Pamela is highly experienced in all cross-border issues arising in formal insolvency procedures in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
