The Scale-up route is a new UK sponsored work visa which opened for applications on 22 August 2022. The aim of the Scale-up visa is to make it easier and quicker for UK businesses to recruit highly skilled individuals from a worldwide market to help facilitate rapid growth in their company.
Similar to the Skilled Worker Visa, the new route is a points based route that enables eligible companies with a sponsor licence to recruit individuals from overseas for specific roles in their business. But is the new Scale-up Visa a better option than the Skilled Worker Visa for employers?
